Current school design often neglects the importance of play and exploration in learning, especially in young children. Restrictive layouts, rigid schedules, boring environments, and lack of outdoor spaces are all factors into what make schools so unenjoyable and ineffective for children. To address this issue, we can incorporate design that encourages learning through play, discovery and imagination by integrating colorful yet calming aesthetics, open concepts and nature-based learning to foster children's holistic development.
