Next x Steelcase office

NEXT Chicago is a two-story office design created for a Steelcase competition, located in the Fulton Market District of Chicago. The project reimagines an advertising agency workspace, responding to the area’s evolution from an industrial past to a vibrant, creative hub.

The concept is grounded in NEXT’s ethos of “Being More Human,” focusing on how space can support collaboration, creativity, and authentic connection in the workplace. The design prioritizes flexible, engaging environments that encourage interaction, idea-sharing, and a stronger sense of community among employees and clients.

By reflecting the energy and transformation of Fulton Market, the office becomes more than a traditional workplace; it is a dynamic environment designed to inspire innovation while fostering meaningful human experiences throughout the workday.
